On 11 January 2025, the IRM registered a complaint concerning a fatal drowning incident in south-western Uganda with potential relevance to GCF-funded project FP034, “Building Resilient Communities, Wetland Ecosystems and Associated Catchments in Uganda” (FP034). The complainants requested and were granted confidentiality in accordance with the PGs and TOR. .

On 15 November 2024, the IRM received and acknowledged receipt of a complaint concerning a fatal drowning incident in south-western Uganda. The complainants are family members of the deceased. The complainants have not requested confidentiality but as a result of the IRM’s risk assessments, and in accordance with the PGs and TOR, the IRM is withholding the identity of complainants in external communications.

On 3 April 2024, IRM received a complaint alleging adverse impacts related to the implementation of GCF funded project FP034 "Building Resilient Communities, Wetland Ecosystems and Associated Catchments in Uganda." The IRM acknowledged receipt on 8 April, 2024 and subsequently proceeded to determine elibility of the complaint. Complainant(s) have raised several concerns related to implementation of the project including restrictions on access to wetlands, lack of compensation and/or adequate consultation, increased food insecurity and impoverishment of wetland-dependent communities and incr

Em Setembro de 2022 e Novembro de 2022, o MIR recebeu duas queixas relacionadas com preocupações sobre as condições de trabalho e acesso ao mecanismo de queixas no Parque Solar de Benban, com relevância para a FP039. Os queixosos foram anteriormente empregados pela empresa Health and Safety Home, trabalhando em vários projectos no Parque Solar de Benban.

Em Junho de 2022, o MIR recebeu uma queixa relacionada com FP121. O queixoso manifestou a preocupação de que, como o governo reconheceu e estabeleceu legalmente um representante dos povos indígenas do Paraguai, o Instituto Paraguaio do Indígena (INDI) deveria ser incluído no Conselho de Administração da FP121, mas que tal ainda não aconteceu.
